Lesson I got from joined a Charity Program

I’ve been tight up with the word of “charity” in these few weeks.
What people usually mean when they talk about “charity” is that something good, positive, help others, that it has no any bad purpose include.
Ironically, this time I found a few of unnecessary points occurred along the process. The good will turned into unpleasant situations at the end, but I got good lessons from these mistakes:
Big good will with bad attitude creates hard feeling and ego. People will confront and do not cooperate with you.
Ego is a good self confidence, strong will, but it can become self centered, underestimate, refuse other people’s idea and kill the teamwork.
People cannot read the A, B, C in your mind. Talk and tell what you want and let your team do it professionally. 100 small hands can contributes bigger than 1 big, smart and professional one.
Review and sit back. You cannot see clear of what’s happening if you keep running.
Optimistic is good, once it is too much people become unrealistic, and this can waste time and money.
Flexibility is good in maintain network, as long as we keep them in the bottom line of professionalism.
When we enter other people’s house (read: company/ organization), follow or at least respect their rule.
Small good will with professional way and sincere attitude invites appreciation.
Straightforward is good, but it can become intimidating others, or generates rumours.
Concentrate, focus and done (if possible) what is in front of you, before you go.
Prejudice is always bad. Open your mind and listen. The rest is just doing everything properly and communicate well.
If you failed, you still have many lessons from your failure 
Stop and apologize. Then you should smile and becoming better each days.

when you upset and exhausted, just remember your first reason why you are willing to commit to give hands for this charity event :)
